Hip Circle was founded in 2002 by Natasha (Wells) van der Merwe, and has become one of the biggest and most prominent Belly Dance Studios in Cape Town. Growing up in a Family of Musicians, Natasha realised that her knowledge of the industry could be put to good use, as an agent.
Our Dancers have not only performed at many high profile parties and business functions, but have also performed in Movies, Music Videos and Television Shows (eg. Free Spirit). They have performed at large charity events and fundraisers, including dancing for children affected / infected with HIV, and the eMzansi Carnival to name a few.
